What can I expect during my session?

Every session is unique because Spirit determines what is most important for you to receive. You can expect to receive what you need, not always what you expect.

The more open you are, the more meaningful the experience can be. While it's perfectly natural to feel skeptical, approaching your session with curiosity and an open heart allows Spirit the greatest opportunity to communicate.

​

One of the most important things you can do is let go of expectations. When we become attached to hearing from a specific loved one or receiving certain answers, we unintentionally close ourselves off to the beautiful and unexpected messages Spirit may have for us.

When you release expectations, you often receive more than you could have imagined.

Can I ask questions during the reading?

Questions are reserved for the end of your session. During the reading, I ask that you keep conversation to a minimum and avoid sharing personal information about yourself or your loved ones.

This helps preserve the integrity of evidential mediumship by allowing Spirit, not prior knowledge, to guide the session.

​

Once the messages have been delivered, there will be time to ask your prepared questions and give feedback.

​What if the connection doesn't happen?

Although uncommon, there are occasions when a strong connection is not established.

Both the medium and the sitter are connecting with Spirit, and sometimes, for reasons beyond our understanding, the connection simply isn't flowing.

​

If a meaningful connection has not been established within the first 15 minutes of your session, your session will end and you will receive a full refund.

At that point, we can discuss scheduling another session at a later date or, if I feel another practitioner may be a better fit, I am happy to provide a trusted referral.

Can you answer questions about my future or tell me what I should do?

No. While mediums are a type of psychic, we are not all-knowing.

I can only communicate what Spirit shares during your session.

​

I do not answer "Should I...?" questions or make life decisions on your behalf. Instead, Spirit often offers insight, perspective, encouragement, and guidance that supports you in making your own empowered choices.

​Can anyone connect with Spirit?

Absolutely. One of the most important messages I hope every client leaves with is that everyone has the ability to connect with Spirit.

​

Mediumship happens to be my strongest spiritual gift, but I am not special.

​

We all have an innate spiritual connection with our loved ones, guides, and the Divine. My hope is that our time together not only brings comfort and validation but also reminds you that your own connection is natural, possible, and always available.

How should I prepare for my reading?

Before your session, I recommend:

• Set an intention and say a simple prayer asking that whatever is for the highest good of all concerned comes forward.

• Ask that your questions be answered in the best way possible.

• Write down any questions you have before your session.

• Be in a quiet, private space where you can be fully present.

• Please do not attend your session while driving, traveling, or in a busy public place.

• Have only the person scheduled for the reading present. Additional people can unintentionally shift the focus of the reading toward them instead of you.

Being relaxed, open, and fully engaged helps create the strongest connection possible.

​Should I tell you about my loved one before the reading?

No. Please avoid providing information about your loved ones before or during the reading.

Allowing Spirit to provide the information organically maintains the authenticity and evidential nature of the session.

How often should I schedule a mediumship reading?

For connecting with loved ones in Spirit, I generally recommend waiting six months to one year between readings. This allows time for the messages to integrate naturally into your life.

If your sessions are focused primarily on guidance from your Spirit Guides, waiting several months between appointments is typically beneficial.

​

If you are working with me to learn how to strengthen your own connection with Spirit or your guides, coaching sessions may be scheduled more frequently. These sessions include personalized guidance, practice exercises, and homework, and your commitment to the process is an important part of your growth.

Do you work with negative spirits or use spirit boards?

No. I work only with Spirit through God's love, light, truth, and the highest good.

My practice is grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and protected environment for every client.

I do not work with negative energy, and I do not use or recommend spirit boards.

Will I receive a recording of my session?

Yes. Only with Zoom sessions which are typically recorded. Please allow up to two business days to receive your recording. If you have not received it after that time, please contact me and I will be happy to assist you.

​

If your session is not recorded, I encourage you to write down anything that feels especially meaningful immediately afterward. Often, messages continue to unfold with time and reflection.
